Movement Drills

Pick 5 climbs a few grades below your redpoint ability. Climb each one with knees turned out (KTO) and hips square to the wall on every move. No drop knees!

Pick 2 climbs a few grades below your redpoint ability. Climb each one three times with:

  1. Regular technique
  2. Straight arms & drop knees: Use as many drop knees as possible to keep your arms straight. Remember to reach with the arm on the same side as the knee you turned down, and to turn that hip into the wall.
  3. Hip opener: Knees turned out (KTO) and hips square to the wall on every move. No drop knees!
