Watch the video below. This is the opposite of SLOTH CLIMBING. The goal of this drill is to climb dynamically with maximum power and efficiency (not to be confused with sloppy climbing). Choose climbs a few grades below your redpoint ability. Climb each one 1–2 times as quickly and smoothly as possible, skipping as many holds as you can. Even though you’re climbing fast, focus on precise foot placements and avoid unnecessary movements. This technique is great for steep bouldering and long, steep endurance routes.
